What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Structural breakage under normal use
  • Defective locking mechanisms
  • Corrosion resistance (for models rated for outdoor or marine use)
What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse, abuse, or improper installation
  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, or cosmetic damage
  • Lost keys or key duplication issues
  • Tampering, unauthorized modifications, or forced entry damage
  • Environmental damage beyond rated specifications (e.g., excessive exposure to chemicals, seawater, etc.)
How to Claim a Warranty Repair or Replacement

  • Photos/videos of the issue
  • A description of the fault

We will assess the claim and, if valid, facilitate a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).

If the fault is covered under warranty, return shipping costs may be covered depending on the case.
