All products sold on Padlock Hub come with a manufacturer’s warranty. The duration varies by brand.
Warranty Duration
- ABUS: Typically 2 years, but varies by product.
- ABLOY: 10 years on mechanical components.
- Other Brands: Warranty periods vary—refer to individual product descriptions or contact us for details.
What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials and workmanship, including:
- Structural breakage under normal use
- Defective locking mechanisms
- Corrosion resistance (for models rated for outdoor or marine use)
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, abuse, or improper installation
- Normal wear and tear, scratches, or cosmetic damage
- Lost keys or key duplication issues
- Tampering, unauthorized modifications, or forced entry damage
- Environmental damage beyond rated specifications (e.g., excessive exposure to chemicals, seawater, etc.)
How to Claim a Warranty Repair or Replacement
To lodge a warranty claim, contact us at [email protected] with:
- Proof of purchase
- Photos/videos of the issue
- A description of the fault
We will assess the claim and, if valid, facilitate a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty and Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
If the fault is covered under warranty, return shipping costs may be covered depending on the case.
